Kakheti Area Development Centre (KADC) was founded in 2019 and is functioning on the basis of World Vision Kakheti Area Development program which had been programming in three directions in Kakheti region - Early Childhood Development, Child Protection and Youth Development at community, municipal and regional levels.

Mission

Promote child protection and wellbeing in Georgia.

Strategic goals                               

• Work with poor and vulnerable population for their development and economic empowerment;
• Develop and implement community-based sustainable projects focusing on the child’s best interests to reduce the poverty level;
• Support local and central government authorities to improve child protection systems;
• Promote building positive child-friendly environment;
• Support youth education to build essential skills for prospective job opportunities (under SKY module).
• Provide educational, cultural and social programs and vocational training sessions for children and youth throughout Georgia;
• Support development of social entrepreneurship.

To reach the goals

• Partnering with local and international organizations for grant opportunities and joint projects implementation;
• Providing seminars, conferences and other public activities in compliance with the organization goals;
• Collaborating with Georgian government, legislators and other state institutions.
